Student Support
Learner Support
Mainland provides all learners with appropriate and timely guidance and support during training.
Support from Mainland staff is available at all times, but where this is inadequate or inappropriate, students are given access to information, contacts, facilities and time to make necessary contact.
Access to learner support is advised upon inquiry or enrolment.
Learners with specific needs are catered where possible however basic reading/writing skills are a prerequisite for most programmes.
On the first day of each programme the Tutor explains the company’s support and guidance policies and procedures to learners, and refers them to the relevant section of their enrolment material.
Staff will endeavour to identify learner issues at the earliest opportunity. Learners with specific needs are provided with appropriate support.
Information will be readily available of support services relating to learner concerns.
